Bicyling from island to island is easy because they are all connected by bridges. Close to the new bridges you will find the old, decaying ferry harbours. Moland has many farms and good roads with little traffic. Stamsund is a peaceful town where the tourists may spent the night in rorbuer in the harbour. Here boats can be rented for fishing, so you can catch your own fish for supper.

Despite its remote location, and the decline in the fishing fleet, Lofoten, like the Faroe Islands has a look of wealth.
