Hurtigruten to Lofoten og Vesterålen

Hurtigruten goes along the west coast of Norway. At every port of call,
there is a ship once a day from the North and another from the South. In
Bodø the northbound ship leaves at 3 pm. It touches at Stamsund
and Svolvær before reaching Lofoten and Vesterålen. The ship
only stops for a short time at each port, too short for sightseeing ashore.
From Svolvær the voyage goes trough the narrow Raftsund. In the middle
of Raftsund there is a small fiord called Trollfjord. In the summertime
the ships from Hurtigruten will go into Trollfjorden between very high
mountains with snow and glaciers on the top. At the end of Trollfjorden
the ship turns around with the bow propellers, while soup is served to
the passengers on deck.
