Gaukværøy seen from Finnseter on Hadseløya

From Sortland you may bike to Stokmarknes. Coming to Stokmarknes you
have to cross two bridges. There is a small road going along the west coast
of Hadseløya. From the westernmost point of Hadseløya you
can se Gaukværøy on the far horizon. In Melby on the southcoast
of Hadseløya there is a ferry crossing to Fiskebøl on Lofoten.
It is a beautiful trip and you may compare the mountains in Vesterålen
with the much higher mountains of Lofoten with lots of snow on the top.
