Ty Brith, Pentrecriyn, Denbighshire, Wales ©
Watercolour by Ole Jacobi July 1997
Up and down and up and down we went, and ended up at Ty Brith near
Ruthin, a wonderful old farmhouse from 1540 which was now in the business
of making honey and beeswax products. We had a wonderful room with the
old 16th Century beams showing through and on top of that the use of a
parlour downstairs at a very reasonable price (£17 p.p.). The lady
of the house, Mrs Jones, made us very welcome, and we had some more interesting
talk about the Welsh language. Dinner at a nearby pub, The Three Pigeons,
was nice too.
