Hiddensee

Today we bike to the southernmost tip of the island which comprises
a large wildlife reservoir where access is forbidden. We go as far as we
can through a flat landscape of small dunes alternating with patches of
moorland. On the way back, we check the schedule for the boat to Schaprode,
the nearest town on the island of Rügen which is our next destination.
We also visit the museum of the island which holds some artifacts from
the history of Hiddensee and some paintings by painters who have lived
here. None of it very inspiring, I'm afraid.
