We spend the next weekend with an excursion to Joshua Tree National Park in the Mojave Desert. It´s a fantastic landscape with its intricate rocks and stands of the Joshua tree, so-called by Mormon pioneers who thought the branches of the tree resembled the upstretched arms of Joshua leading them to the promised land, as legend has it.
